Job Description
The ideal applicant will be in charge of applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to a wide range of surfaces, including walls, woodwork, and furniture. The painter will also be in charge of prepping surfaces for painting, which includes washing, sanding, and fixing any defects.
Qualifications and Skills
The applicant has to meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 (Technical Matric is desirable)
- Proven experience in painting
- Certification in painting or similar fields.
- Knowledge of several painting styles.
- Ability to operate independently and in a collaborative setting
- Physical stamina for working long hours and lifting big stuff.
- Valid driver’s license.

Main outputs
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to surfaces based on the project requirements.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and fixing any defects.

- Use brushes, rollers, and spray guns to apply paint.
- Maintain the tools and equipment in excellent condition.
- Follow all safety measures and instructions while working with paints and chemicals.
- Communicate with clients to learn about their painting requirements and preferences.
