Job Description
The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering safe, dependable, and customer-focused delivery services by driving a Code 10 / Code C1 vehicle that transports items precisely, efficiently, and on schedule. The job ensures that deliveries and pickups are carried out safely, legally, and cost-effectively, while maintaining high service standards and displaying the homechoice brand professionally in the field.
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 11 (Standard 9).
- Valid Code 10 / C1 driver’s license.
- Valid Professional Driver’s Permit (PrDP)
- Minimum two years of driving experience in a delivery, distribution, or logistics industry.
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience or equivalent operating environment.
- Working understanding of Road Traffic Act requirements and safe driving procedures.
- Ability to read maps and properly plan delivery routes.
- Clear criminal record
- Willing and able to work weekends and extra as needed.
- Willing to participate in random drug screening
