Job description
The major goal of this position is to execute general maintenance and cleaning responsibilities on buildings administered by Housing Company Tshwane. Successful applicants will be responsible for keeping all facilities clean, safe, and in good shape for residents and visitors. This comprises both interior and outdoor duties that help to maintain a good level of life in HCT-managed houses.
Requirements
- Grade 10 or equivalent qualification
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience
- Physical fitness and health

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
- Conduct daily maintenance of facilities.
- Pick up rubbish and sweep around all buildings owned and maintained by HCT.
- Cut grass, trim trees, and remove weeds from pavements and pathways.
- Clean buildings allotted to the incumbent.
- Help in loading and unloading various goods.
- Clean the flowerbeds.
- Clean restroom facilities
- All HCT-owned and maintained facilities have empty dumpsters.
- Remove rubbish dumping from buildings owned and administered by HCT.
- Handle minor equipment and machinery.
