Job Description
Position: Logistics Coordinator (Learnership Programs).
We are looking for a practical and structured Logistics Coordinator to assist with the day-to-day operational coordination of learnership courses.The selected applicant will oversee class attendance follow-up, learner transportation arrangements, workplace placement coordination, and task monitoring.
This position necessitates excellent follow-up abilities, thorough record-keeping, and the capacity to coordinate learners between classroom and workplace settings.
Main Duties
- Monitor learner class attendance and follow up on absences or tardiness.
- Coordinate learner transportation or relocation to employment sites, if applicable.
- Assign and confirm learner workplace assignments with site supervisors.
- Maintain learner placement schedules, attendance logs, and task trackers.
- Follow up on workplace learning opportunities and supervisor confirmations.
- Weekly updates on attendance, transportation, placement, and assignment progress.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Two (2) years of experience in logistics, operations, learner coordination, scheduling, or site administration.
- Excellent Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams abilities.
- Good communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- A valid driver’s licence is useful when site visits are necessary.
