Job description
The primary goal of this function is to properly run and maintain designated packaging equipment and related procedures in order to achieve maximum effectiveness.
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12
- Post-matriculation or equivalent (e.g., N4) – National diploma or equivalent
- Added benefit IOB Certificate
- Training: A minimum of 9 months on-the-job training and completion of SKAP within 12 months.
- Experience in the Packaging FMCG business.

- demonstrated an understanding of relevant legislation, particularly health and safety and labor legislation.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Operating equipment, managing associated processes, and performance in packaging
- Interpret and implement production strategy for shift.
- Operate manual and automated machinery online according to specifications.
- Ensure the process quality and productivity.
- Perform administrative activities, such as tracking and monitoring procedures, and take action as needed.
- Manage PIMS and POMS, and take corrective action against bad trends.
- Use of OFRs (According to triggers)
- Contribute to AB reports as requested.
- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
