Job Description
We’re looking for a loving, energetic, and passionate instructor to join our Foundation Phase. The ideal applicant is forward-thinking, values-aligned, and dedicated to growing the complete child via strong connections, organized routines, play-based learning, early literacy, numeracy, social development, and Christian values.
Requirements
- Relevant teaching qualifications in Foundation Phase Education, especially B.Ed Foundation Phase Teaching at NQF Level 7 or above.
- 2 to 5 years of teaching experience, or at least a one-year internship for outstanding applicants.
- Valid SACE registration and a police clearance.
- Capable of teaching across the Foundation Phase curriculum, including literacy, numeracy, and life skills.
- A strong knowledge of early childhood development and Foundation Phase pedagogy.
- Strong understanding of phonics, early reading, handwriting, number awareness, and play-based learning.
- Effective classroom management, planning, communication, and organizational abilities.
- The ability to establish a caring, organized, and developmentally appropriate school atmosphere.
- Experience or participation in sports, cultural activities, or school events will be beneficial.
