Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 / ABET Level 4 / Vocational Studies or equivalent qualification
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to communicate in more than one official language
- Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles and relevant legislative prescripts
- Physically fit and able to perform manual duties
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport patients between wards, departments, and service areas
- Assist with off-loading patients from private vehicles and ambulances
- Ensure availability and cleanliness of wheelchairs and stretchers
- Assist in the mortuary during weekends, after-hours, and public holidays
- Record mortuary temperatures during weekends and public holidays
- Push patients using stretchers or wheelchairs as required
- Perform any other duties delegated by the supervisor
