Job description
We are looking for a motivated Vehicle Sales Trainee to join our vibrant team on the East Rand. In this entry-level role, you will primarily study the subtleties of car sales for a range of franchises, honing your abilities in building long-term client connections and driving sales success.
Requirements
- A Matric certificate or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively interact with a varied range of consumers.
- A love for the automobile sector and a drive to advance in car sales.
- A fundamental grasp of sales concepts and customer service techniques.
- Demonstrable experience in a customer-facing job is advantageous but not required.
- Proficiency with MS Office and CRM applications is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail or sales is preferred but not required.
- A valid South African driver’s licence.
- Knowledge of several vehicle manufacturers and experience in dealership operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist consumers in understanding car features and advantages, allowing them to make educated purchase decisions.- Use detailed product presentations and test drives to successfully exhibit automobiles.
- Help the sales team prepare sales proposals, negotiate conditions, and close business.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the various vehicle types and industry trends.
- Communicate with consumers across a variety of channels, including in-person, phone, and digital platforms.
- Work with the marketing team to promote special deals and events to increase foot traffic at the dealership.
- Participate in continuing training sessions to improve your product knowledge and sales methods.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and promote repeat business.
