Job description

Main purpose of the job

To provide high-class customer service and to increase the company’s growth and revenue through
sales maximization.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Customer Service

  • Greet clients as they enter the shop, help them discover items, and offer product information and recommendations.
  • Effectively use upselling and cross-selling strategies to boost UPT, ATV, conversion, and turnover.
  • Understand and promote various payment options, including PAYFLEX, PJN, and HappyPay.
  • Responsibilities include representing the brand, following uniform policies and grooming standards, and maintaining a professional appearance on the sales floor.

Visual merchandise

  • To successfully advise consumers, have a complete awareness of the items and their location, including ingredients, care instructions, and price.
  • Steam, tag, price, hang, fold, restock inventory, and maximize space.
  • Follow VM rules and policies to provide a great shopping experience for all consumers.

Stock Control

  • Maintain stockroom order and cleanliness by placing items in the appropriate categories and making them easily accessible to accelerate the sales process.
  • Actively communicate with management about stock levels, sell outs, best sellers, and any other stock requirements.

Daily Operation and Housekeeping

  • Consistently observe and adhere to time and attendance standards and procedures, clock in and out, record late arrivals, and stick to the roster.
  • Ensure correct and efficient customer transactions by using a POS system, managing cash, updating variance schedules, and accepting credit/debit cards.


SKILLS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Grade 12.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Higher education (advantageous).
  • 1–2 years of job experience, ideally in a retail context.
  • Knowledge of retail techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide customer service.
